GYMNASIUM & WELLNESS CENTRE TERMS OF USE.

Please enjoy this state of the art facility on offer within the 501 Tower. For your safety and the safety of your colleagues, we ask you to adhere to the following rules and regulations. By using the level 2 amenities, you agree to and are bound by these conditions.

WARNING: If you participate in activities at this facility your rights to sue the supplier under the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012 if you are killed or injured because the activities were not supplied with due care and skill or were not easonably fit for their purpose are excluded.

NOTE: The change to your rights, as set out in or on this sign, does not apply if your death or injury is due to gross negligence on the supplier’s part. Gross negligence, in relation to an act or omission, means doing the act or omitting to do an act with eckless disregard, with or without consciousness, for the consequences of the act or omission. See regulation 5 of the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Regulations 2012 and section 22(3)(b) of the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012.

  • 01 Consult your physician before exercising and follow their advice.
  • 02 Improper use of the equipment can result in injury.
  • 03 Use is restricted to authorised employees within the building and not open to the general public.
  • 04 No glass containers are allowed in the gymnasium.
  • 05 No alcohol or food is permitted in the gymnasium.
  • 06 Appropriate fitness attire must be worn.
  • 07 Always place a towel under gym wear when using equipment.
  • 08 Always wipe off gym equipment after use.
  • 09 No horseplay is permitted.
  • 10 The equipment is used only for its intended purpose.
  • 11 All persons using the gymnasium do so at their own risk.
  • 12 Do not exercise while impaired by alcohol or drugs.
  • 13 Do not drop weights.
  • 14 No weights are permitted on the wooden floor.
  • 15 All equipment is to be returned to its storage rack after use.
  • 16 Pets are not permitted in the gymnasium.
  • 17 Children under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
  • 18 The Landlord and its Building & Facilities Manager accept no liability for injury, death or any loss associated with the use of the gymnasium facilities including, but not limited to, the Wellness Centre.
